Eagles DeSean Jackson, Todd Herremans and Jon Dorenbos were among those joining teammate Brent Celek for his Take Flight Foundation's Celebrity Server Event at Morton's (1411 Walnut) Monday night. Dorenbos amused guests by performing magic tricks while strolling around the dining room.
The event raised $122,000 for Celek's foundation, which helps seriously ill and physically challenged children in the area.
It turns out that Morton's holds a special place in the hearts of Celek and his wife, Susie. When the couple lived in Cincinnati while attending college, they celebrated big occasions with Morton's Godiva hot-chocolate cake.
