Brent Celek's Take Flight Foundation has two signature programs:
Brent's Take Flight Zone
Brent's Take Flight Zone enriches the lives of seriously ill and physically challenged children by providing them and their families with access to Ipads, notebook computers, PlayStations Portables, PSP games, DVD players, DVD's and games to help pass time during treatment and recovery. Brent's Take Flight Zones appear in two signature hospitals in the Philadelphia area:
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia- In-Patient Wings: will touch the lives
of nearly 65,000 patients and their families each year. Out-Patients Wings:
will touch the lives of nearly 1,500,000 patients and their families each year.
St. Christopher's Hospital for Children- Out-Patient Wings: will touch the lives
of nearly 100,000 patients and their families each year. In-Patient Wings:
was launched in March of 2011 and touches the lives of nearly 25,000
patients each year.
Operation Elf
Operation Elf provides at-risk Philadelphia-area families with seriously or chronically ill children with a holiday meal, a chance to meet Brent and get autographs, a football and a Walmart gift cards. Each family can shop the store for winter clothing and gifts to make their holiday season a little brighter.
